What is Coolsculpting® used to treat?
CoolSculpting® is for stubborn fat that you cannot get rid of despite dieting and exercising. It is also very useful for sculpting the body. CoolSculpting® can eliminate up to 20% of the fat cells in the treated area permanently.

Are there any circumstances in which CoolSculpting® might not be an option?
There are some situations in which CoolSculpting® might not be ideal or the right treatment. For example, there are different kinds of fat and they have different consistencies, some of which are more easily treated than others. Some bodies have more fibrous tissues than others in desired treatment areas as well, which can be a consideration (too much fibrous tissue and the treatment won’t be particularly effective or helpful). As with all our treatments, your complimentary personal evaluations are always the place to start. One of our team members will sit down with you, evaluate your goals and treatment area, and take you through the options and answer your questions before any other actions are taken. We want you to be happy with your results and we take great care to make sure our patients are well informed so they can have the best body treatment experience possible.

What does the treatment feel like?
The treatment is not painful. It feels cold – 10 degrees above zero as that is all that is necessary to killed the fat cells – and takes about one hour. Honolulu Medspa is the only certified CoolSculpting® center in Hawaii and we are a Crystal rated practice, which means we’ve done more treatments than any other practice in the area!
