DIY Calming Mask

If your face is giving you grief and you’ve got 20 minutes, here’s a quick way to rejuvenate your skin and take a moment for some me time. Best of all, you can make it with items you probably have in your pantry!

Lemon juice is a natural exfoliant, olive oil is an excellent moisturizer, and oatmeal is famous for calming inflammation.

Lemon Olive Oil Mask


1 teaspoon olive oil
A few drops fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal (cooled)
1 egg white


Mix olive oil, lemon juice, oatmeal and egg white thoroughly. Spread on your face and neck and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water, and then smooth on your favorite moisturizer – and don’t forget the SPF!
