Celebrating lush land & seascapes by combining Polynesian, Mediterranean and Native American Indian design, Nadia’s art bursts forth with passion and harmony. She specializes in wood sculpture, using a jigsaw and select woodworking tools, the same way other artists might use a paint brush or pencil.
She spent her childhood living and traveling in Europe and Australia, and the ancient, timeless symbols, architecture, and imagery she saw in those places sparked her passion for art and archaeology.
While earning her BFA in Sculptural Ceramics in Texas, with in depth studies in Archaeology and Botany, Nadia worked as a technical illustrator and restorer of archaeological artifacts and as a technician at a stained-glass window company. Her work is also influenced by 25 years spent training as a dancer and yoga teacher.
She is currently an art teacher at a local charter school, and her art studio is nestled in the lush country town of Waimanalo, on Oahu.
I am a focused, safe, and abundant woman.
