Da Cove Health Bar and Cafe- This is a great spot near the famous Diamond Head Crater hike. They have the best acai bowls, fresh smoothies, juices and also wraps. (Probably the best acai bowls in Honolulu!)
Bogart’s Cafe- Just next door to Da Cove, is this newly renovated local hot-spot! They have the best coffee, bagel/bagel spreads (homemade cream cheese), and everything eggs. They also have a heavier meal menu if you’re wanting something a little more hearty! This place is a must.
Leahi Health- This is a great plant-based restaurant where they take pride in using the healthiest, organic ingredients in all of their smoothies, sandwiches and salads. With 3 locations throughout the island (Aina Haina, Kaimuki and Kailua), you can be sure to find this spot wherever you are on the island. They have the best tacos and the yummiest smoothies!
Uncle Clay’s House of Pure Aloha- If you’re wanting the best all-natural shaved ice for a sweet treat, look no further than Uncle Clay’s! Their syrups are homemade with all natural ingredients and use no artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors! Once you have this shaved ice, you will understand what we mean… It’s a taste of pure aloha!

Rum Fire- Not only do that have great drinks, but the view here is incredible and a great spot to feel like a tourist or bring guests. Happy Hour is 3-5:00 P.M. daily.
Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian- They own the name Mai-Tai Bar for a reason. They truly have the best mai-tai’s in Hawaii. Happy Hour is 4-7:00 daily.
Doraku Waikiki- If you love sake, this is a spot to come to for happy hour. They offer not only a great drink menu, but also food menu! Happy hour is 4-6:00 daily.
WHERE TO STAY:
Alohilani- a newer hotel in Waikiki that offers an infinity pool and gorgeous happy hour deck. A 280,000-gallon indoor Oceanarium which is great to see during feeding times and two restaurants by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. They have a luxurious club and spa which offer fitness and yoga classes, and also two complimentary tennis courts.

THINGS TO DO:
Diamond Head hike- Even though it might be touristy, this is one of the most iconic hikes with panoramic views. This is a hike that the entire family can do that it’s a very simple trail that takes up 25 min. up if you have a moderate pace.
Pillbox hike- This is another short hike with incredible views of Lanikai’s twin islands, It is one of the most picturesque hikes and moderately easy.

MAKE A LIST
Write down your goals where you will see them. When you see what you’re working towards you will start putting the focus in and that will help keep you on track.
Be realistic and start with goals that are easy to achieve. For example: Drink more water, meditate more, eat more plants, rather than eating out, cook more healthy foods, or go for a walk in the park. Small goals lead to big goals and that is what we want to work towards.
SET MANAGEABLE GOALS
Don’t create a list that is too difficult to achieve. Be realistic about your time and your lifestyle. If you have to get the kids to practice immediately after work, schedule time for yourself in the morning or take a walk while they are on the field. Be realistic and don’t be too hard on yourself if the unexpected comes up.
HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE
Get a family member or close friend to help you stay focused and accountable. Consider your needs and what keeps you motivated. If group settings work best for you take this into consideration before you plan your goals.

During the 30 minutes, you will feel the contractions will follow an algorithm.

– Keep skin hydrated and drink lots of water to flush out all the toxins to keep that healthy, glowy complexion we all love immediately after the facial. More hydration means longer lasting results.
– Keep up with an exfoliant. Dead skin cells build up and depending on the facial, it is recommended to start your exfoliant 3 days after your facial and keep it up 2-3 days per week. The type of skin you present with, type of exfoliant and what treatments you receive will all help determine how often you should exfoliate.
– Use a brightening serum. We love our Vitamin C rich antioxidants and our Lytera. The goal is to brighten dull skin and boost collagen production. Brightening serums keep the skin balanced, toned and radiant.
– Follow your Aesthetician’s advice. We are always here to help you along your skin journey. Our recommendation are customized with your best interest in mind.
– Book your next monthly facial appointment. We offer packages on all of our services and pre-purchasing a series is the best way to stay committed and keep your skin looking its best!
– Try to avoid a spray tan as your skin tone will be slightly off. We have also noticed that when patients receive a spray tan to the face, they are more likely to have breakouts. No thanks!
– Don’t exfoliate our use high percentage retinols 48 hours before your appointment. We don’t want your skin to be over-sensitized and react poorly to the treatment.
– Avoid the steam room or heavy workouts that can make you sweat heavily. We just cleaned your skin, and some inflammation can happen. We suggest waiting 24-48 hours after your treatment to resume those heat related activities.
– Wax, shave or have laser hair removal immediately after. We do allow laser hair removal appointments to be booked right before the treatment, but not after. Waxing and shaving is permitted before, but not after.
– Spend time in the sun immediately after your appointment. Let your skin soak up all the goodness it just received and do not expose it to harmful UV rays. You are more likely to get a sunburn to the skin if you are exposed to sun immediately after an exfoliating facial
– Pick at the skin. Please just don’t. If we didn’t get it the first time there was a reason why. We will always explain what we are doing to the skin and what it can handle.

Juicing VS. Blending:
There are two ways you can drink this. If you have a juicer, run one bunch of celery through it. If you have a blender, blend it in a high-speed blender until smooth, then strain well and drink immediately.
He recommends drinking 16 ounces on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Wait at least 15 minutes after drinking your celery juice before consuming anything else. If you’re sensitive, and drinking 16 ounces is too much, start with a smaller amount and work your way up. Use organic celery whenever possible and wash well before juicing.

MYTH #1: You don’t need to moisturize if you have oily skin.

MYTH #2: You only get acne from not washing your face.

MYTH #7: All I need to do for great skin is drink 8 glasses of water a day

MYTH #8: You should use the same skincare products for day and night

For our patients who are somewhere in between we offer Microneedling, a technique that uses a needle-studded wand to create micro-wounds to the skin. Microneedling can treat a variety of skin issues, including acne scars, sun damage and can also promote collagen growth for those subtle signs of aging. It will soften lines, wrinkles and improve skin texture.
The goal of a microneedling treatment is to stimulate collagen while giving the skin an effective exfoliation. The downtime is very minimal compared to aggressive laser treatments and also more affordable. You may be red for the first 25-72 hours and makeup is avoided for the first 24 hours because the pores on the facial skin are still open. Why is collagen regeneration so important?
